Having seen the difference hormone replacement therapy made in some of his patients lives, Dr. Darr approached Dr. Gino Tutera about becoming a bioidentical hormone replacement therapy provider. He trained under Dr. Tutera in 2011, and in 2012, opened the Prescott Center for Hormonal Balance. Dr. Darr is a member of the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians and is a Fellow and 25 year member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has won numerous “Top Doc” Awards and recently was honored with a Patient’s Choice Award.
About this Provider
Dr. Darr is a board certified family physician in Prescott, AZ. He grew up in Denver, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder. He graduated with honors in Chemical Engineering. He then attended medical school at the University of Iowa, graduating in 1990. After medical school, Dr. Darr did his Family Practice Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. He stayed on as faculty, and eventually became the Associate Director of the residency program and Medical Director of St. Joseph’s Family Practice Center. In 2003, he moved to Prescott with his wife and two sons. He joined Oaklawn Family Practice, where he practiced full-spectrum family medicine.
He recently joined Prescott Center for Hormonal Balance in Prescott, Arizona.
