Dr. Fernandez is a graduate of the University of Oviedo School of Medicine in Spain. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nevada in Reno, and her OBGyn training at the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan.

Married and with two children, she resides in Tampa. Dr. Fernandez enjoys traveling and outdoor activities such as skiing and biking.
