Dr. Molly Long attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned her baccalaureate degree in biochemistry which focused on hormones and the endocrine system. She went on to attend medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she graduated in the top 3% of her class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
Dr. Long completed her internship and residency at the University of South Florida which provided extensive training in gynecology, surgery, and high-risk obstetrics. Dr. Long was in private practice in Denver, Colorado for six years and has been in practice in St. Petersburg, Florida since June of 2005. She was one of the first in the St.Petersburg area to offer bio identical hormone therapy.
Dr. Long is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She serves as Vice Chairman of the Bayfront Medical Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as the Chairman of the Bayfront Quality Improvement Committee. She is also a member of the Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society, and the Pinellas County Medical Association.
