Dr. Shonda Perry is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the Florida Medical Association and the Hillsborough County Medical Society.
Dr. Perry was born in Philadelphia and raised in Miami. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from Florida State University, and her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. She remained in Philadelphia for her residency, which she completed at Temple University Hospital.
In 2002, Dr. Perry moved back to Florida to begin working in private practice in Fort Myers. She then worked as an ob-gyn hospitalist at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in Tampa for seven years before returning to private practice with Women’s Care Florida.
In her spare time, Dr. Perry enjoys weight-lifting, exercising and dancing. She also volunteers at her church as a Sunday school teacher and helps with the Meals on Wheels program.
