With my surgical background and experience with hormone treatment, I feel this transition from working as an OBGYN to working at Allura with SottoPelle has been a very natural progression for me. About this Provider

Dr. Suzy Saenz always had an interest in science as early as she can remember. She grew up in Texas and went to a small undergraduate school in her hometown, Wichita Falls. She got accepted into medical school at the University of Texas School of Medicine in Houston. Through her studies she found a love for the preventative care and surgical needs of women, as well as helping women get through their pregnancies and deliveries safely. She ended going into OBGYN residency at Texas Tech School of Medicine in Amarillo when she finished medical school to be in the same town as her newly wedded husband, who was in his last year of OBGYN residency.

After residency, Suzy and her husband John wanted to be closer to the mountains they both loved. They found a great opportunity and moved to Loveland, CO and started working as OBGYNs in a private setting. Dr. Saenz has thoroughly enjoyed Loveland and delivered her 3 sons here. They are all teenagers now attending local schools. Because of a growing need to spend more time with her sons before they head off to college, she decided to retire from OBGYN.

Dr. Rebecca DelaTorre, owner of Allura Skin, Laser and Wellness Clinic has been treating patients with SottoPelle® Bio-identical hormones for a few years. Because of the wonderful results she was getting, word spread and she has become overwhelmed with the demand for SottoPelle®. Knowing that Suzy has worked with hormone management for several years, when she found out she was retiring, she offered her a position at her clinic to work part-time. Dr. Saenz then trained with Dr. DelaTorre and did a training course with Dr. Gino Tutera. She has found an incredible difference in patient satisfaction with these pellets versus any other conventional hormone treatment she worked with in the past. She is now taking care of male patients as well and thoroughly enjoying the positive results she is seeing.
